Here's my pull list for this week. I'll update this after Diamond updates their page on Monday evening. Stay tuned.

MARVEL:
“Invincible Iron Man” #1- Matt Fraction takes the reins of the Golden Avenger's relaunched book, hot on the heels of his stint as co-writer of my favorite Marvel book in recent memory, The Immortal Iron Fist. Art doesn't look too shabby, either.

“Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas” #1- John Favreau, who we now know can tell a shellhead story, pens a tale of Mr. Stark and his alter-ego in the city of Lost Wages.

"Mighty Avengers" #13- More on Nick Fury and his role behind the scenes in the days leading up to the Secret Invasion, which, come to think of it, isn't much of s secret these days. BTW- Hank Pym? Yeah, that'll shake the foundation of the Marvel Universe. Riiiiight . . . .

DC
"RANN/THANAGAR: HOLY WAR" #1- Not sure on which side of the ledger this thing will end up on, but we'll give the opening salvo a try.

"THE WAR THAT TIME FORGOT" #1- I'll pretty much buy any book that features G.I.'s fighting dinosaurs, and this one sports a Neal Adams cover! Sold!

"TOR" #1- Joe Kubert writes, draws, etc. Enjoy the master while you still can.

"HOUSE OF MYSTERY" #1- Let's see what Bill Willingham and the gang can do with DC's Cain and Abel!

Could be more coming. We'll see.

Diamond has now posted their list for the week, so let's see what needs to be added:

DARK HORSE
"BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER" #14- Can't wait to see the most famous vampire of them all continue to get his groove back on the streets of Tokyo, with help of his monkey-butt-boy Xander "No, I'm not Nick Fury, why do you . . . oh, that" Harris!

DC
"ACTION COMICS ANNUAL" #11- The long-awaited conclusion to the Johns and Donner penned epic bringing Zod (the real one) into the current DCU.

"JLA PRESENTS AZTEK THE ULTIMATE MAN" TP- I hear this is a ripping yarn. As a collaboration between Millar and Morrison, how could it not be? I missed this on the first go-round, because, well, it features a character called Aztec the Ultimate Man.

"SMALLVILLE SER 2 GREEN ARROW AF"- Yes, it's an action figure. What're you going to do about it, punk? Love the design of this character, who brought new life into the long-running show.

"WOMEN OF THE DCU SERIES 2 BATWOMAN BUST"- Ciarán's favorite new character brought to life in mini-bust form.

MARVEL
"SECRET INVASION" #2 (OF Cool- Still holding out hope that Bendis will somehow find a way to extract himself from his own bung after last time.

OTHER
"ANGEL AFTER THE FALL" #7- Love this book as much as Dark Horse's BTVS Season 8 book, which is damned high praise.
