I finally saw this last night. Bride and I rented the DVD from the local Movie Gallery (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Omnicorp). An entertaining diversion. I give it **1/2. Take it for what it is, and don't expect too much.

The main Irish guy in the movie looks like what if someone cooked up Stewart Townsend and Colin Farrell's DNA in a lab, and accidentally dropped in some cigarette ash and dirt, a la the evil Superman in Superman III (wasn't that the one where he fought Mr. T?).

***SPOILAGE***

The ending plays fast and loose with the internal logic of the film, but only in a straight line, if that makes any sense.

Could they have found a less sympathetic bunch of college-aged morons?

The film has a pretty good message, which is when a talking cow tells you to head back to camp, take his advice.

Also, don't take the 'shrooms with the black caps.

Hey, at least it HAD a message.

You must be wrong! What could possibly be better than anything with Chimps or Monkeys?

Karl Pilkington talking Chimps or Monkeys through an emergency landing in a seaplane?

I understand it involves test-monkeys accidentally traveling to an alternate dimension to battle snot-monsters. Seriously.

It does, doesn't it? But then, so did the premise of "Howard the Duck."

The thing I never got about that movie: What was up with the girl and the duck being attracted to each other? That was a super weird storyline.

It's kind of like how my wife is attracted to me. Of course, my bride is super-duper beautiful, so everyone is attracted to her . . .
