Bruce, it's true. The great man is gone. I didn't realize you knew his work.
Phil Foglio, his main illustrator, has a cracking good comic book series called "Girl Genius." It's all available online at girlgenius.net. This is also the answer to the "What is Constance's favorite comic?" on the "How well do you know your friends?" quiz.

I'd heard that about the likeness. I'm an old fan going back to the first book, all the way up through "M.Y.T.H Inc. In Action," I think.
I used to be in the fan club, and have some neat-o stuff signed by old Phil.
Ever read "Duncan and Mallory"?
I haven't read the last few books. More of the same I assume? NOTE: I don't mean that in a bad way.

I've never heard of this Aspirin character, but I've heard of Phil Foglio alright, he did a shed load of artwork for some of the early Magic: The Gathering trading card game. I wasted many hours of collage in the mid 90's playing that and marveling at his artwork.

Bruce, it's the manly art of collage, which entails the construction of shadow boxes from old wooden whiskey cases, the arrangement of spent shotgun shells, knives broken in daring fights protecting women and small animals, dried blood from the wounds of his enemies, etc. etc. In the creation of art, no detail is meaningless.
Hey, wasn't Nelson going to do a shadow box with his Ep 50 prize? Nelson? Huh?

I don't know about that, but earlier today I did start "shadowboxing" when I heard Kool Moe Dee on the radio . . .
