Would it be possible for the next podcast to be about 300% of the standard volume. I currently have to listen at full blast just to be able to here you guys.

Would be hard of hearing by any chance, coz listening to the Colonel at 300% volume is likely to deafen the rest of us, like it did his Marines.

Hello by the way.

I don't have this problem with any other podcasts or other sources in iTunes or on my iPod/iPhone, just 2igtv. I tried boosting the signal in iTunes but it didn't help. At the very least 200% would help, others could just reduce their volume.

I mentioned to Mark about adjusting the levels before starting #54. He "fake laughed" at me. Glared at me. Then proceeded to change the subject.

I'm curious to know if this worked out better for TEG this time.

I was still muddled. I ran the podcast through Audacity and boosted the bass and volume that seemed to help. My biggest problem is that I don't feel comfortable listening to anything at maximum volume. On my computer that also increased the bass, and if I accidently change tracks or I get an alert the boom coming from my sub will bother my neighbors. On the iPhone, I'm just half scared that someone will call and the ringer will blow out my ears. So it is just safer to have the source file louder then adjust the volume on the player as appropriate.
