CNN.com reports that 'McCain may be hunting VP candidates.' No word on whether he plans to skin and clean them once they are caught . . .

Pray he doesn't end up with someone like that idiot Quayle.

Maybe he could sever their heads, and mount those on little wooden plaques on his wall?

I envision Jindal and Crist waking from a drug induced stupor to find themselves in a 30' diameter pit. Overhead lights click on revealing two large knives on a dirt floor. High above the Senator from Arizona lifts his arms and shouts, "There can be only one!"

It won't be an easy decision. I'd want Huckabee to be the Prez if anything happened to McCain (I'm not blind to the man's age) as I agreed with practically all Huck's policies but he's too conservative for the independent voters and swing-voters to stomach and McCain would loose most if not all of them that he has gained. If he chooses Romney he looses the southern states as well as people that have issues with Romney's wacky religion. The best course of action is for him to pick someone respected by all, and a consolation prize for those that wanted an African-American or a woman in the White House - yes Condi for Veep!

Well seeing as how Hillary has been doing her best to make sure the dems don't win the election, she may as well out herself as a McCainiac now! At least he'll get the female vote Smile

I hear McCain may be looking at Virginia Representative Eric Cantor, whose district is comprised mainly of the Richmond suburbs, while Obama's search team is sunny on ex-Richmond mayor and current Virginia Governor Tim Kaine.

Both lawyers, Cantor trained at William & Mary (undergrad at George Washington University in D.C., plus a master's in real estate development from Columbia University in NYC), while Kaine is a Harvard law man (undergrad from Missouri).

Weird that we may have two powerful folks from Richmond, Virginia riding shotgun on the national tickets. Weirder still that Cantor is Jewish and Kaine is Catholic, and no one seems to have made a big deal about either's religious preference in the early going.

In other news, this morning I overheard YET ANOTHER person express an intent to vote for Barack Obama in the upcoming election because they felt it would "help to bring about the Rapture." Ahem.

And McCain takes the style over substance stance again! Seriously, this girl has no real executive experience, she was a member of the Alaskan Successionist movement for god sake. She has also flip-flopped on the Bridge to Nowhere project as well. Then of course there is the unresolved conspiracy as to the actual mother of her latest kid (it might apparently be her daughters). Did McCain think he was picking his latest wife (the other one is no spring chicken anymore) instead of a VEEP?

Also, there's the hilarious claim by Cindy McCain that Palin has 'foreign affairs' experience because 'alaska is near russia'. LMAO, ya and I have farming experience because... Ireland is near farms.
