So what does everyone think of the finale? Haven't listened to episode 58 yet, but I'm dying to know what The Colonel and Mark thought. And was that the Brooklyn Bridge at the end? 'Roll the hard six,' eh?
Wait, what? That was the finale? Dang it! We had a storm that night. I got the last 3 minutes, and missed about 15 minutes worth of story before that.

As dark as the ending of that ep was, I was mainly happy they didn't do a Battlestar 2008 (e.g. Battlestar 1980)-type setup.
The idea of Starbuck+others running around a modern-day Earth (or in the case of 1980- random airports and whatnot), depresses me far more than a radioactive, post-apocalyptic Earth.

Two questions though (as some people I know and others around the net seem to have conflicting ideas on this):
1) This ep was a MID-season finale, right?
2) If so, any word on if there are extra follow up movies (to take place after the series finale)?

I loved the season ender.... the only thing that would have been sweet/cheesy, would be if it was ruins of a current earth, overly decayed. Like a New York... but then I also think that would have been terribly done. So I like it as is.

I think it was New York. Wasn't that the Brooklyn Bridge?
