. . . Disney.

Bride and I are spending a week in gay Paree in the Spring, and are using a visit to Euro Disney as the centerpiece of our trip. Any tips?

Was in Euro Disney in September with the missus.
It was brilliant, like a kid I was. Its piss easy to get to and if you're goin off peak you'll enjoy it all the more, as we got to try all the rides with little or no waiting time.

Try visit eurodisney on a weekday avoiding kiddie holidays, otherwise the park will be packed and the queues massive. And get there early!

Sticking up for Froggie and his works, eh? Of course you know I'll have to alert the Colonel. Please stay where you are and remain calm while awaiting your 're-education team.'

The Disney excursion is only one component of our trip to 'Europe's Anus.' This will be my third time in 'The Land That Bathing Forgot.' Wife has never been, and we thought some time with the Mouse might be a fun, kitschy distraction for whatever strike or other commie b.s. might be going on while we're there. We fully intend to take insuch famous sites as the 'Arc de Capitulation' and the 'Open Sewer That Runs Through The Middle Of The City.'

And by the way, I'm travelled further and farther for less. Like the time I went to Australia to see such marvels as . . . that giant rock in the middle of the desert.

I am, of course, joking. I understand Australia is very nice, especially for a place built principally by criminals and the insane. Say, isn't the Aussie national anthem about a hobo dancing with a rug?

DISCLAIMER: I'm actually quite fond of Australia and Australians, and only say bad things about her and her people in jest.

So, the French aren't liked then, is the basic message I'm getting Laughing

Actually come to think of it, the staff at eurodisney are pretty rude and unhelpful.

I plan on disconnecting the running water to my house in the weeks prior to our trip in order to effect the perfect 'protective colouration.'

James, we'll be there right around our anniversary, which is St. Patrick's Day.

Don't tell my bride, but I steered the big day to that date in large part so it would be impossible for me to forget.

Ah, St. Patrick's Day. The day when, as Kent Brockman put it, everyone's a little bit Irish . . . except of course for the Gays and the Italians.

As I said previously the entire park is a two night stay. I'm going at the start of a week in mid-December so I'll review what's been done since I was last there.

Be aware that food in the park costs a fortune and if you're willing to pay highway robbery prices inside (The Disney Village outside the park has the usual fast food outlets) you might as well consider eating at Walt's on Mainstreet.

I didn't find an equivalent in Florida not sure about CA.

As per usual FastPass is your friend. Space Mountain kicks the shit out of the crappy little ride in Orlando as it’s a strap in launcher based coaster with numerous loops and inversions. The park closes earlier than it does in the US but you're only 35-45 mins by train away from a major Paris train station where you can hop the metro to where ever you want to go.

Having had to jump the barrier at the airport the last time I was there this time I'm going to take the shuttle bus from the terminal and see how that goes.

Bride and I are fully prepared for the high cost of food in the parks, being the Disney World veterans that we are.

As my pappy used to say, 'Son, it takes money to drink fine liquor and ride the big train.' A wise man, my old pappy.

The Parisian Space Mountain sounds rather like the Aerosmith Rock'n'Roller Coaster. which I guess they have there as well.
