The staple of forums everywhere! The stereotypical question: What are you listening to at the moment? Right now, I've got the 2005 album from The Frames, Burn The Maps. In particular, I've got A Caution To The Birds on...
Now, get out there, listen, and post!

Occasionally, presuming you mean mixtapes...
I do and I don't
I mean http://muxtape.com/, which lets you upload a playlist of music that you can share. You can only have one playlist at a time.
I've no idea who djroy is, but his mix has a kind of a funky 80's groove that I find appealing.
Here are their terms:
"Muxtape is a service for creating mixtapes. Users may not upload multiple songs from the same album or artist, or songs they do not have permission to let Muxtape use. Individual users may not create multiple muxtapes. Accounts not meeting these restrictions are subject to termination without notice. Muxtape will never reveal your email address to a third party. Muxtape is alive"
Sam, I've never heard of those bands. You'll have to do a muxtape thingy because I've absolutely no idea who any of them are or even what type of music they play.

I don't like to have words in my music. I find most music with words to be a pointless. If I wanted to hear words, I'd go and talk to someone. To me, music is far more enjoyable without words distracting you from its beauty.
I don't listen to classical music, but it was a greater love of the classics as a young lad than the mindlessness of the POP drivel of the '80s that led me down my current path: I now almost exclusively listen to the scores from Film, Television, Video Games and even music that is specifically created for advertising and trailers for them. In 10 years, I've amassed a collection which I've converted into 180Gb of MP3s that if played in iTunes without turning it off would continuously play for almost 50 days. Yes, I'll admit I have a serious problem.
Among my favorite composers are John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Jerry Goldsmith, but there are a lot of talented up-and-coming composers which are firm favourites now, such as Brian Tyler, Clint Mansell and Steve Jablonsky.
The good thing about a collection like mine, is that you ALWAYS have something someone wants and I feel great when I can give something like that to someone. Each one of you has heard a theme or piece of music in a movie, on television, in a game or even in a movie trailer or something, that you really liked but had no idea how to get it - I offer my service to you, the readers of this forum - let me get you, or attempt to locate that which had eluded you for so long.

Brilliant! Thanks, Col., I've have to start listening for that sort of music, in trailers and all... I prefer Howard Shore, and have the scores for the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, though, I'm also a fan of Williams and Zimmer, as well.

I've been listening to a bunch of Tegan and Sara, as well as the new R.E.M. disc. It's not the record from Stipe and the boys we've wanted for lo these many years: it's better.

I've been listening to all the new stuff from Nine Inch Nails. I'd say that Radiohead hasn't got anything on what Trent Reznor is doing now. He's ditched his record label, released his music through a creative commons license, and released two free albums, all within a month. Amazing.

NIN isn't really my cup of tea, but I recognize and respect Trent Reznor for the talent that he is.
I finally got my mitts on the new Elvis Costello disc over the weekend, but am saving it for a full uninterrupted listen later.
We also bought the new Barenaked Ladies record for kids, which we found immensely entertaining, especially the song about frogs with the faux-reggae breakdown. Shannon and I are positioning ourselves to listen to as little of 'The Wiggles' as possible.

Tegan and Sara? Are you secretly a lesbian?
I can't listen to them. Too whiny!
Do you want to hear my one and only piece of Trent Reznor gossip? A guy I know ran into him at Whole Foods in the produce section, screwed up the nerve to say hello, and reported to me that he (Reznor) is totally nice. He said that they chatted real friendly like for a few minutes before they went their separate ways.
