I have two sons ages 7 and 10. I already bought a PSP for the oldest and a DS Lite for the youngest. Should I take them both back and just get a system like the PS3 or the XBox 360? Which is better for this age group? I'd really appreciate any help you guys could give me! Thanks and Merry Christmas! Confused

Both the PSP and the DS Lite are excellent choices, getting them one each means less fighting over who goes next.

For their ages I feel the handhelds are better. Then in a year or two buy the system. Unless you want if for yourself, too. Then it's a problem.

Santa brought them a PSP and a DS Lite and they love them. We have a Wii and really enjoy playing that - especially that Ravaging Rabbids game! jamesfrommelbourne, how old are your kids? Do you think that boys ages 7 and 10 are old enough to "appreciate" a PS3? Maybe next Christmas! Thanks again for the help. Very Happy

The wii is also very popular with my wife and I. We love ours, and even bought my father-in-law one for Christmas. He and the mother-in-law love it, and neither have ever played a video game in their lives.

As for your kids, I would gave given each a stick, a tin whistle, and a shiny new nickel.

The look on the faces of children all over the world that wake up on Christmas morning to find a stick, whistle and a new nickel would be priceless! Great idea for future Christmas mornings. That would probably cause world wide riots and maiming of parents everywhere!

We also love our Wii. The new Ravaging Rabbids game is hilairiously fun to play. I love shooting plungers at those wascally wabbits. It's a great system and pretty cheap too. gotta love it. My kids are couting down the days until the new Smash Bros. comes out!
