Johnny Depp as The Riddler?
Phillip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin?
Jolie as Catwoman has already been debunked (or has it?).
Anybody else hearing any of this?

Russell Crow as a journalist obsessed with Identifying the Batman, and outsmarting him. He kills that guy who knows who batman is because that would be too easy. etc.

Batman 3 will be crap.
Most modern 2nd-Sequels have been rubbish. Spider-Man 3, X-Men 3, T3, Blade:Trinity, The Mummy 3, The Matrix: Revolutions, Shrek 3 the list is endless. I could count on one hand the number of good 2nd sequels so far this decade:*, The Bourne Ultimatum, Mission: Impossible 3, Return Of The King and Resident Evil: Extinction.
I've just heard that Chris Nolan may not do Batman 3 now...
* Revenge of the Sith would be counted here if I regarded it as a movie, but it is my religion.

Are YOU mental my good fellow? Mission Impossible 2 by The Woo himself redefined the big budget stylish no-brain action movie for the new millennium. I don't have a lot of wall space in my office but one of my most prized artifacts is a framed section of theater lobby cardboard standee from M:I-2 itself that has pride of place among my religious icons.
Good day to you sir, I say good day!!!

Honey, Mark wasn't joking! I know. Sometimes it's hard to tell with that guy.
And I don't think that was his middle name. I think it was "Wilson."
It's not so crazy. Growing up in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, photos of the martyred JFK were not considered overly strange (alongside the Pope and Our Lady, of course).
Me, I've got William F. Buckley riding at scooter in NYC in the late 50's near my desk.
